Who I am

I’m a first-generation American, the daughter of immigrant parents from the Azorean islands of Terceira and Faial. My roots in the Azores run deep, and they continue to shape how I build community, create art, and connect cultures across the Atlantic.

I’m deeply rooted in the values of heritage, creativity, and community. Growing up between cultures taught me the power of connection - how stories, art, and shared experiences can bridge distance and spark understanding.

My work is about creating art and opportunities where people feel seen, inspired, and part of something larger than themselves.

I’m drawn to the spaces where tradition meets possibility and where we honor where we come from while imagining what’s next.

I believe in thoughtful work, meaningful conversation, and building community through care, curiosity, and creativity.

In short, I love big plans and awesome people.

Current Work

This series of 'line drawings' is a way of spending quality time with my Avôs. These embroideries are my way of seeing the curves of their faces and details in their expressions that have filled my heart my whole life. My avó, the matriarch, the only one to adorn color. She was larger than life and loved her big beautiful jewelry. She is the jewel.
